Teach, Learn, Lunch Series for New Faculty: Efficient Methods for Grading and Feedback (to save time and agony!) In-Person
New faculty are invited to bring a lunch and engage with colleagues from with the Teaching for Learning Center, the Campus Writing Program, Missouri Online, and the University of Missouri Libraries about support for teaching and learning. Participants register for the series and are expected to attend all four sessions. Sponsored by the Office of the Provost.
Efficient Methods for Grading and Feedback (to save time and agony!)
Giving feedback on student work—especially writing—is a challenging and time-intensive endeavor. In this session, we’ll discuss strategic applications of various feedback types, and we’ll try out a few new strategies designed to minimize instructors’ time investment and maximize student growth.
