In response to common critiques of end-of-semester student feedback surveys, the MU Faculty Council and the Provost’s Office approved a new student feedback survey instrument that will be implemented starting this year. This new survey was designed and tested by an expert team of Mizzou scholars, informed by the research literature on best practices for student feedback surveys and the use of resulting data, and refined based on feedback from the Mizzou faculty and student communities. In this workshop you will be introduced to the new survey instrument, learn how it incorporates MU’s dimensions of Inclusive and Effective Teaching, and find out about important changes to how student feedback data will be reported for faculty review.
