Summative Peer Review of Teaching, Phase 2 In-Person

Summative peer review is a crucial element in both evaluating and supporting inclusive and effective teaching practices at Mizzou. Through this process, peers delve deeper into the feedback provided by students and examine the instructor's utilization of evidence-based instructional strategies. In this session, participants will engage in hands-on practice with the tools and processes of the campus-supported summative peer review system. This includes exploring examples of the peer review rubric criteria across various learning modalities. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions about this important aspect of teaching evaluation. Prior completion of the Summative Peer Review Canvas Training (available at https://tlc.missouri.edu/review-of-teaching/iet-helpful-resources/) is highly recommended to maximize learning outcomes from this session.
