Inclusive and Equity-Minded Teaching Book Club In-Person

If you want to become a more inclusive educator, this book club is for you. Inclusive and equity-minded teaching means we recognize that each of our students is unique and has differing background experiences, yet we want to do what we can to help each one learn and succeed. Together we will read and discuss the 2023 book, The Norton Guide to Equity-Minded Teaching (co-authored by T4LC associate director Flower Darby), as we learn about research, theory, and practical planning and teaching strategies that help every student feel welcome and valued in order to help them learn more effectively and improve academic performance. The theory and practice we explore is relevant across disciplines, enrollment sizes, and in in-person and online classes. Join us to enhance your teaching methods and help every student be successful in our classes.
