Increasing Student Engagement In-Person / Online
One of the most reported teaching challenges in 2024 was a lack of student engagement. Join us to explore principles and practices for 2025 to remedy the situation. This workshop focuses on understanding factors that play into motivation. Participants will brainstorm strategies that captivate students' interests, spark curiosity, and align with personal and academic aspirations.
Outcomes:
- gain practical approaches to increase student engagement
-reflect on how to inspire curiosity and/or intrinsic motivation for one or more course activities.
