Review of Teaching: "Teaching for Learning Effectiveness: Structured & Intentional" In-Person

Teaching for Learning Effectiveness at Mizzou is "Structured and Intentional." This dimension of teaching involves how courses, assessments and lessons are planned with purpose, focusing on learning objectives and expectations that are clearly communicated to students. In this workshop, participants will explore how various aspects of Structured and Intentional Teaching can be implemented in ways easily adapted to different disciplines, student populations and teaching modalities.

During this session, attendees will...
- Describe "Structured and Intentional" and explain why it is vital in teaching for learning.
- Identify techniques used by instructors to create a structured and intentional learning environment.
- Brainstorm updates to make their classes more structured and intentional.
