Review of Teaching: "Teaching for Learning Effectiveness: Relevant & Engaging" In-Person
Teaching for Learning Effectiveness at Mizzou is "Relevant and Engaging." This dimension of teaching involves how courses, assessments and lessons enable students to make connections between course content and their personal, professional and public lives. It also involves how these connections may be facilitated by active learning approaches that promote student agency. In this workshop, participants will explore how various aspects of Relevant and Engaging Teaching can be implemented in ways easily adapted to different disciplines, student populations and teaching modalities.
