What the Tech?: Why and When to use Tech’s Most Talked About Tools In-Person

If you have ever been overwhelmed by technology choices, or aren’t sure how to implement a new tool into your course, then this one-day event is for you. Join experts from the UM Academic Technology Team, the Teaching for Learning Center, the MU Disability Center, and Student Success Center as they break down four of the hottest topics in technology including:
- 10-11:00 Drop in and ask questions and meet the team
- 11-11:45: Experience hands-on demonstrations of tools to make digital accessibility easy for every course
- 12-12:45: Use course analytics to unlock insights into student engagement and their use of technology within your course. (Lunch to be served during this session.)
- 1-1:45: Sneak into MU’s walled garden environment–Show-Me AI to learn how the secure AI tool is being deployed by MU faculty and students
- 2-2:45: Dig into the university’s available proctoring tools and best practices
Stop by to meet with an expert about your course needs, pick one session, or grab lunch and stay all day.
