Introduction to Course Design Online
Whether you’re starting from scratch or updating an existing course, this brief workshop will introduce you to helpful course design basics. In particular, we’ll review the principles of Backward Design, an approach to course planning that begins with the end in mind. We’ll discuss how to identify appropriate learning objectives, determine acceptable evidence of learning, and plan instructional activities that align with these outcomes.
